Lovely writing, Carol.

I'm convinced John Farrow and the writers started with that final stunning image and then built a whole film behind it.

I guess I have trouble seeing Coral as a loser when she's the cause of so much misery. Doesn't that just make her creep or an a**hole? Lol

How she got to being Coral could give her some "loser cred" I suppose. We could understand how she got to be such a deceptive, murderous parasite that leaves loss in her path, strewn all around her. She does have that likeable, sweet side, and she's easy to fall for. Her face on the big screen is incredibly magical... And that smokey voice... She is a bit like Cora in Postman: rotten but also was probably salvageable at some point, had had some good in her. She couldn't be good anymore, and her loss made her into a loser. Dang...

Try to find one if hers called Paid In Full. Very obscure. Maybe on Internet Archive or on a collector dvd site. Desert Fury is a messy but enjoyable film and she's really good in it. Just saw her in Dead Reckoning at Noir City in Hollywood. Just rotten to the core...

I couldn't find Paid in Full on Internet Archive but... She has an album of songs on file!

An underrated actress. She should be more well known. A very good film. Classic film noir.
